HOLLOWCORE FLOORING

Drumderry Hollowcore slabs are precast, prestressed units that are generally used for flooring. This system uses continuous longitudinal voids or cores, that run through the central section of the slab. This produces a reduced weight of the slab without affecting the structural performance of the overall panel. The hollowcore slab can achieve spans up to 18.5 metres. Drumderry panels are produced from polished steel beds using the Echo Engineering system and have a very high quality finish to both soffit and top edges of the slab.

WIDESLAB FLOORING

The Drumderry wideslab is a precast, prestressed concrete slab with an in-situ concrete screed topping (poured on site). The wideslab is a form of plate flooring which allows spans of 9.5 metres to be achieved easily. Drumderry use both 9.3mm and 12.5mm strands for the suitability of each project.

Wideslab Depths:

*Slab depth is chosen depending on project requirements.

*The dimensions and reinforcements of Drumderry’s prestressed flooring can be varied to meet the specifications of the architect.
